Intro One news that shocked me during the covid, was the suicide of bollywood filmstar Sushanth Singh Rajput. How could the hero of the movie Chhichhore with the main theme against suicide succumb.  Everyone should realise that Life is the most precious gift - that no fame, richness, money can buy. Live it to the full, everything will change with time - yes take a pause but not stop life. Hometown Like some or many of you, I come from a small town. It got two names Mandamarri (group of banyan 🌲) aka Kalyani Khani a place of coal mines with people from all over India migrated and settled. Our street had mix of several characters - hen, goat, sheep, cow, buffalo raisers; farming in the lawns, backyard & rooftops; tailors, gold smith, carpenter, drunkards, quarellers etc. - many lived in their old ways. COVID TIMES - 2020

Covid -19 pandemic 2020 Introduction As a child we read about events at this scale happened in the past but never thought of living through one. Covid is one such for this generation. Daily covid stats. Wuhan market or not ? Is this due to the wild animals market or the lab experiments gone wrong or a biological weapon to destroy the world economy?  -Only God knows and Time will reveal. Mindspace episode In Hyderabad, it became a sensation  with the Mindspace episode. From that day, roads were empty as if it was Sankranti or Dasara time. Due to all the news and media, doubt and  cautiousness was injected into the  minds of people. Lockdown Practice social distancing, atleast for the valuable lives of others. Easier said than done. Zoom is a hit, like Paytm during demonitization. Office, school, college, home converged - similar to the malls with eat, shop, play, movies theme. Irony - few stupids were honking on the empty spinal road...

Dodital n Darwa Top Trek - 2009

DODITAL - the serene lake. Introduction Due to the global recession, our company Freescale (means climbing without -rope, equipment etc) decided to give mandatory time offs - MTOs. Every quarter, 1 week off with LOP.  I decided to pursue my childhood dream and passion for outdoors. Childhood, I used to explore the rivers, lakes, bird watching, fishing with my grand father & uncles, forest fruits etc. Searched the internet and found a blog -  Almoraboys pensieve  Inspired by his adventures, I wanted to something similar. I pinged him but no luck. Then I found GHAC and initially did the Masinagudi, local treks etc. in the South. In 2009, registered for North India -Dodital Trek and prepared by attending the evening KBR walks organized by Dr. Vibha. Thanks to her for the walks and buying the backpack.
